Yahoo just announced a new approach to search - “Open Search” allowing the site publishers to control how their content is displayed in the Yahoo search results with the help of third party outfits such as yelp.com.

Earlier today we pointed out in today’s asides that Barry Schwartz of SERoundtable.com looked under the hood of the VW website and spotted that they were using an illegal search spam technique - hidden div tag, stuffed with keywords.
