Finally I took some time to update you all on the trip. I created this interactive map (opens new window) of our trip using Google Maps API (My friend Oli Rosenbladt provided instructions! Thanks Oli!). You can use all the Google Maps features to see the detail. The map has some basic trip information which I will be expanding on as time permits.
This is just an image of what the real map looks like. Click on this image to go to the map page (it will open up in a new window). There you can use all the interactive Google Maps features, including zoom, pan, street map, satellite image, etc. You can zoom in really close for example to see the Mackinac Bridge.
