While Door County is known as “one of the top 10 vacation destinations in North America” for the beauty of the land, what lies beneath brings its fair share of visitors as well.
Dive shops are scattered along the Door County Peninsula. As a scuba diver in years past, I dove around the Sturgeon Bay area and what I remember most is the cold water and the stiffness in my hands even though I was wearing gloves.
The Dawn Treader should be sailing relatively close to shore for the remainder of her journey. The weather is pushing them to sail ahead of their anticipated arrival.
