I was trying to figure out how can we post to the blog while we are on the water… Well… thanks to the great technology we have today (i.e. WordPress – “the semantic personal publishing platform”, that runs to power this blog, and mobile phones) we can! WordPress is so cool, the smart people who developed it, made it so, that you can post using email. Brilliant. Even more brilliant is that WordPress is free.
We will be able to use my Verizon Wireless RAZR cell phone (provided for a BIG fee 
) to post, assuming there is cell phone coverage in the area where we will be. There should be since we will be “hugging” the coast line.
Another piece of a great technology is provided by Midphase Web Hosting (for a small fee 
). They provide an automated way to initialize WordPress’ process to check for incoming email messages – called “cron job”.
If everything works well, we should be able to keep you updated. There may be no pretty pictures, but only text. The pictures will come when we return or if we run into a WiFi hot spot.
