Earlier today we pointed out in today’s asides that Barry Schwartz of SERoundtable.com looked under the hood of the VW website and spotted that they were using an illegal search spam technique - hidden div tag, stuffed with keywords. Google responded positively and thanked Barry for his find. Well done Barry!

I already visited the site while I was searching for a VW air filters for my Jetta though it was a really cool site, being able to change, replace and add the parts of your choosen VW model and automatically computing the car’s cost. But I noticed when I viewed the html code that they are using the tag “invisibleContent” which as we all know one of the big No No in Google rules…
